Millions spent to investigate Ramphosa’s alleged money laundering

Secretary of Parliament Xolile George announced that parliament has thus far spent 5.3 million South African Rands on the investigation into alleged money laundering at President Cyril Ramaphosa’s Phala Phala game farm. The section 89 panel was tasked by parliament to investigate the allegations in order for parliament to assess whether Ramaphosa broke his oath of office and could be impeached. The National Assembly will debate the details of the report on 6 December.
