A long queue of emergency vehicles formed in Dnipro, Ukraine, after Russia launched a missile strike. A nine-storey residential building was hit in the attack. At least five people died and many others were injured.

Valentyn Reznichenko, Governor of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, said that 27 people were injured. Among them, six are children. "They were all hospitalised", he explained.

The Head of the State Emergency Service, Sergei Kruk, said that 15 people were pulled from the rubble during the search and rescue operation.

"The State Emergency Service's units are working in coordination. More than 80 officers and over 20 rescue equipment tools have been deployed", Kruk explained.
