A stray cat and dog huddled together on a roadside in Mumbai, Maharashtra, to keep warm at night.

A few locals who knew the animals said the mother of the cat was hit and killed by a bike. The dog then adopted the feline.

A heartwarming visual has emerged out of the street in Mumbai western India where a dog and cat who are known predator and prey are seen embracing each other to beat the winters.

The visuals show the feline and the canine sitting closely giving each other a hug and warmth.

A few bystanders who were aware of both the animals said, the mother of the cat was hit by a bike and ever since tye dog and the cat has been together as the dog has adopted the feline.

Although the filmer was stunned, the incident looked casual natural with the locals who see the animals quite often in the area.
