This is the amusing moment a self-conscious bride used mouth spray before her first kiss at her wedding.

The shy bride Cherry was given the order by the priest, then pulled out a small bottle of minty breath spray while facing her groom Junjun at the church altar in Pasig City, the Philippines on December 28.

Amusingly, she used it to freshen up just before the priest announced that the couple could seal the ceremony with a kiss, sending guests and their entourage into laughter.

Footage shows Cherry spritzing some of the liquid on her mouth before the amorous lovebirds smooched for five seconds.

Wedding guest Liezel May Sabas jokingly said: ‘Mouthspray is the secret for a lasting relationship. But seriously, they both looked so in love. We were so happy for their marriage.'

Before kissing, Cherry handed the bottle to a bridesmaid and laid both her arms on the groom's shoulder.

Liezel added: ‘It was so funny. The bride has a unique sense of humour.'
