A tiny mouse falls into a toilet in a school in Thailand's Nakhon Pathom province. Luckily, a teacher finds it and rescues it.

The footage shows the woman wearing gloves and scooping up the exhausted mouse. It fought for hours to stay afloat on the bowl.

She said: "I was startled when I saw a dark figure floating in the water. It was a drowning mouse. I felt sorry for it, so I helped it".

The video also features images of the teacher releasing the animal outside the school.

A hapless mouse stuck in a toilet was rescued from a school in Thailand.

Footage shows the teachers scooping up the exhausted rodent after fighting to stay afloat on the bowl for hours in Nakhon Pathom province on January 26.

The creature's rescuer Noina Uankaew wore a cleaning glove and took the creature outside to free on the school grounds.

She said: ‘I was startled upon seeing a dark figure floating in the water. When I took a better look, it was a drowning mouse. I felt sorry for it, so I helped save it.'
