This panda delighted visitors at a zoo in eastern China as it appeared to twerk whilst attempting to scratch an itch.

Video filmed in the city of Nanjing in Jiangsu Province on March 13 shows a 7-year-old panda named Jiu Jiu at Hongshan Forest Zoo. continuously shaking her bottom.

Tourists were heard laughing as they watched the amusing scene.

A zoo employee suspected that Jiu Jiu was probably just scratching an itch on her bottom which was normal behaviour for pandas.

The zoo staff members are monitoring Jiu Jiu closely and if there were any issues, they would take necessary actions.

Jiu Jiu is known for her love of tree climbing and can often be seen resting on high branches.
