Cars reversed to avoid a huge avalanche crashing down a mountain opposite a highway in southwestern China.
The dramatic footage was filmed in Pome County in Tibet Autonomous Region on April 3.
According to reports, a motorist named Du encountered a huge avalanche when he was driving on 318 National Highway.
Within just two minutes, the avalanche from the opposite mountain slope swept down and covered the previously clear road with snow.
Fortunately, no injuries or damage were reported at the scene.
Authorities from Pome County's Public Security Bureau confirmed that the road is now open and that the incident has been dealt with.
The avalanche happened on the other side of the river from the highway.
