Shopkeepers cut through shop's walls to save trapped kittens
Shopkeepers cut through their shop's walls to save trapped kittens.
The workers heard the felines crying from inside a wooden pillar at an appliances store in Pathum Thani province, Thailand on April 1.
Using available tools, including a kitchen knife, they tore through the board and freed two starving creatures.
Footage shows the volunteer carefully cutting through the wall using a sharp knife.
He pulled one black kitten, but another similar hole had to be created on the other side as its sibling fell into a different chamber. Both cats were safe.
Shopkeeper Chin said: ‘We felt sorry for the cats. I think they fell from the roof and down into our store. But the good this is everyone helped, and now the kittens are safe.'
The kittens were adopted by one of the workers.
