A mass brawl involving dozens of youths erupted on holiday resort Magaluf in Spain on Sunday evening.

More than 50 revellers were filmed in a chaotic fight on the streets outside popular club Panama Jack on May 7, hurling rubbish bins and beer bottles at each other.

Local police and the Civil Guard later arrived to help bouncers put an end to the 10-minute scuffle, which left at least six people injured to varying degrees.

The Civil Guard said the brawl was sparked by rival groups of Portuguese youths, though it is unclear what caused it to escalate.

Ten people have been arrested, including seven Portuguese tourists who were found staying at a nearby hotel.

Magaluf is a popular Mediterranean holiday destination often visited by tourists from Britain and Germany.
