A kind-hearted woman selflessly shielded elderly passengers with an umbrella on a rainy day commute in southern China.

Video filmed in Wuzhou City in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on May 26 shows, a group of elderly vegetable sellers waiting for the bus when suddenly, the sky opened up and heavy rain poured down.

A young lady with an umbrella noticed the situation and immediately took it upon herself to protect and escort each elderly person onto the bus before boarding herself.

The young lady named He Simei had arrived at the station to catch a bus when she noticed an elderly person standing in the rain with his luggage.

Without hesitation, she approached the individual and offered her an umbrella.

As the bus arrived at the stop, the rain suddenly intensified. Nevertheless, she continued to stand at the bus door, shielding everyone with her umbrella, only realising later that she herself had gotten wet.

She believes that the small act of kindness is effortless and vows to continue doing whatever she can to help others in need in the future.

据了解，热心女孩叫何思梅，据她介绍，视频发生地是梧州市龙圩区广信路的202路公交车广信路中站。当时她来到该站点乘车，看到一位老人拿着行李在雨中等车，便走上去给他撑伞。而后公交车靠站时雨势突然加大，她就继续站在车门口为大家撑伞，后来才发现自己被淋湿了。她觉得这是举手之劳，今后会继续做一些力所能及的事。”
