A CHILLING VIDEO of an apparition of a monk has been captured by Norfolk based paranormal investigators and researchers Ghosted.

The captured footage shows the investigators of Ghosted UK trying to verify the sightings of a monk in the area when an apparition is caught behind them.

The footage was captured at the 14th century brick-vaulted refectory undercroft Beccles Road, St Olave's, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.

Ghosted UK, which boasts of a total of 140 years of experience from all its members is run by Tim Johnson (54). The group comprises members from various walks of life and has mainly a lot of female operatives.

The group uses a lot of devices and methods like thermal imaging, X-Ray, microwave imaging, static fields, infrasonic detection, cameras that ‘sees’ apparitions, ultraviolet light, geiger counter, barometric pressure, geomagnetic fields, thermal fluxes, image intensifier and other such applications. Mr. Johnson has built several devices himself.

It operates mainly in the East Anglia region of Britain but some cases have required travelling beyond the area.

It claims it maintains a rational outlook as many ‘hauntings’ can be brought about by radio gas leaks, high concentrations of AC electric fields, infrasound, side effects of medication among other things. Once it has been ruled out that there is no mundane causation, the group moves on to the next stage- a process of illumination.

People send Ghosted videos and pictures and they start their investigations, something that often always goes off smoothly.

“There were reports of a ghostly monk seen in that area,” said Tim.

“So we went to investigate.

“When we went through the footage we noticed a white figure in the doorway.

“We had not realised it at that time.

“On further investigation we couldn't debunk it as a mere light reflection or a glare or anything else in the building.

“We noticed the figure seemed to move slightly when we walked past it.

“It could have been a ghost seeing what we were up to.”
