A telecom tower collapsed in devastating winds and rain in northern China.
Video filmed in Baoji city in Shaanxi Province on June 25, shows an unusual bout of severe wind and rain, leading to the toppling of a telecommunications tower standing several stories high.
On June 27, a representative from the Baoji Municipal Emergency Management Bureau assured the public that no casualties had been reported.
Authorities from the Li Jiaya Police Station, responsible for the area where the tower stood, confirmed that maintenance personnel were present at the time of the incident.
