Video filmed in Golmud City in Qinghai Province on July 12 shows a huge sinkhole opening up on a bridge at Beijing–Lhasa Expressway.
According to reports, the flash floods caused by heavy rainfall washed away the bridge and left behind a gaping void in its place.
Traffic control measures remain in place as road disruption persists.
