A freight train mishap caused havoc at Moscow's Matveevskaya station on July 18.

Footage shows the train transporting rails passing through the station damaging the platform as it passes.

One of the rails being transported shifted seeing the platform's pavilion destroyed. An oncoming train's cabin was also damaged but fortunately, no one was injured.

On July 18, 2023, at Moscow's Matveevskaya station in Russia, a freight train transporting rails experienced a serious accident. During transportation, one of the rails shifted and obstructed the train's path, causing extensive damage to everything in its way. The incident resulted in the destruction of the platform's pavilion and the damage of the driver's cab in an oncoming train. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the people at the station. Despite the chaos caused by the runaway rail, there were no traffic delays along the route.
