The Taj Mahal in Agra, India is facing severe flooding from the nearby river Yamuna, which has reached the boundary walls around the site for the past week.

Footage from July 21st shows river water running up against the outer walls. Reportedly the rise in the water level was caused by two dams being released earlier this week.

Fears of polluted water in the Yamuna discolouring or damaging the stonework of the site have also been stated by local officials.
