In recent days, in Guilin, Guangxi, China, a man unexpectedly discovered an upstream mountain flood while using a drone for aerial photography. He rushed to the dam and managed to rescue a family of three who were swimming downstream.

The incident occurred on the afternoon of August 16th. Mr. Lu, a photography enthusiast, was controlling a drone to capture images at Taolin Bay in Guanyang County, Guilin. He observed a sudden mountain flood upstream. The turbid and swift water was rushing down, and several hundred meters downstream, near the dam's entrance, a mother with two children was swimming. Unaware of the changing water currents, they were completely unaware of the impending danger.
