STORYLINE:

As one of the world's leading trade fairs for consumer electronics, the five-day IFA 2023 opened here on Friday with over 2,000 exhibitors from 48 countries and regions, a much greater scale than last year.

According to IFA official website, nearly 1,300 Chinese exhibitors have registered in this year's event. Chinese companies such as Hisense, TCL and Haier have occupied some of the largest exhibit areas with various products.

SOUNDBITE 1 (Chinese): ZHANG SHAOYONG, CEO of TCL Electronics
"The overseas market is substantial, so we have maintained double-digit growth overseas over the past two years. This double-digit growth is not in terms of quantity but primarily in terms of revenue and overall income. This also indicates that over the past two years, our main focus has been on the high-end market, and we have been elevating the TCL brand."

SOUNDBITE 2 (English): MAGDA TERESA PARTYKA, EcoFlow's PR and Communications Manager, Europe
"We like to present ourselves. We are an international company. We have a lot of international employees and our business is very popular outside China, especially the Europe region, so Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. And this is why our (Europe region's) headquarters is in Düsseldorf. Our products are very much loved by our German or European customers."
