A new regular direct shipping service from Nansha Port in Guangzhou, south China's Guangdong province, to the eastern part of South America was inaugurated on Monday, when a cargo vessel left the port for Brazil.
The service is the fifth international marine route for BRICS countries this year, boosting trade between enterprises in South America and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, according to port officials.
The ship, the Tian Le V.42, is scheduled to dock in Victoria and Santos, Brazil.
