A leopard was captured and released back into the wild after it strayed too close to a temple in Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh.

Footage from September 7 shows officials transporting the animal in a large cage on the back of a truck.

This case was fifth of its kind in a period of 75 days.

A leopard was captured after it strayed near the Narasimhaswamy temple in southern India's Andhra Pradesh.

This incident happened in Tirumala on September 7.

Visuals showed the leopard being brought to an area on the back of a vehicle after being captured. The wild animal was inside of a cage where it growled. Later, it was taken out from behind the vehicle and men carried the cage away. The big cat, a male, tried to be a bit aggressive as it roared and attempted to pounce while inside the cage.

According to a report, the wild animal was spotted four days ago and authorities didn't waste much time in setting up a cage to capture it. It was eventually caught on the walkway of Tirumala, making it the fifth such case in 75 days.
