A wedding car and a garbage truck collided on a rural road, resulting in casualties at the scene in southern China.

The terrifying dashcam video was filmed in the city of Linxiang in Hunan Province on October 4.

According to Liu, an eyewitness, the collision took place on a country lane in Zhongfang town. Tragically, multiple fatalities were reported immediately following the crash.

Both the bride and groom, who were on their way to the wedding ceremony, are believed to have been involved in the accident.

On October 4, the Linxiang City Public Security Bureau released an official statement on the incident. A seven-seater SUV suddenly changed lanes and collided with an oncoming sanitation truck. The horrifying impact resulted in the immediate death of two individuals in the SUV and four others were seriously injured.

2023年10月3日上午10时许，临湘市S206忠防镇渔潭村猫形组路段发生一起7座越野车（湘F89***）突然变道驶入对向车道与一正在行驶的环卫车（湘FA49**）相撞的交通事故。事故导致越野车上2人当场死亡， 4人受伤（后经医院抢救无效死亡）。
