Six tree snakes caught inside air-con unit in Malaysia
Six paradise tree snakes were caught nesting inside a family home's air-condition unit in Malaysia.
Footage shows an emergency responder climbing up a ladder to reach the appliance installed above a bedroom window to find the serpents in Langkawi, Malaysia, on June 16.
She searched around the indoor split-type unit and pulled the family of reptiles cramped inside the hollow space.
The officer extracted the animals with bare hands and showed them to his colleagues before taking them to their facility before being released.
Paradise tree snakes are not considered to be dangerous to humans. Their venom is mild and is not typically fatal. However, paradise tree snakes can bite if they feel threatened, and their bites can be painful.
