This is the heartwarming moment a pet dog waited patiently in the sea to welcome its excited furparent arriving by boat.

Zorro, a highly spirited two-year-old Aspin dog, was excited to see Nova Valderrama as she disembarked from the ferry in Iloilo City, the Philippines, on June 17.

Footage shows the excited Zorro waiting until it was time for his owner to step off the wooden ramp of the boat. The restless pet suddenly climbed the ramp to join its owner on the boat, causing passengers to be unable to disembark. The boat's crew then moved the dog to clear the ramp and make way for the tourists.

Nova explained that every time her father tells Zorro of her impending arrival, the dog patiently waits for her at the beach until the passenger boat arrives.

'Zorro loves to help me carry my shoes, umbrellas, or anything I'm carrying with me,' she added.
