A female performer was harassed on stage by two men who had come forward to tip her in China.

The video was filmed in Ningxiang City in Hunan Province on October 17.

As they placed their monetary gifts, each man, in turn, tried to embrace and kiss the performer named Ning without her consent, prompting her husband to intervene.

One of the men forcibly wrapping his arms around Ning and pressing his lips to her face after placing down the money. Despite her attempts to resist, the man persisted in his actions. Shortly after, another man climbed onto the stage, attempting a similar unsolicited move.

Yang, Ning's husband, visibly angered, rushed to her defense and pushed the man away.

Yang stated that both he and his wife are performers in the Huagu Opera. While it's customary for audience members to tip performers during these commercial shows, he said he'd never witnessed or experienced such blatant disrespect and violation.

"This act is an affront to the dignity of both my wife and me," he expressed, mentioning that they've since reported the incident to the police.

On the morning of October 20, an official from the Ningxiang Public Security Bureau confirmed that the case had been accepted and the two men involved had been detained for administrative reasons.

The two men Deng and Tang have been administratively detained for 15 days by the public security department for their indecent behaviour.

现场视频显示，一男子放下打赏钱之后就过去强抱宁女士，宁女士无法推开，该男子亲到宁女士的脸上。不一会儿，又一男子上台也企图强抱宁女士，杨先生愤怒将其推开。
杨先生称，他和妻子均是花鼓戏演员，商业表演确实有观众打赏的习俗，但第一次碰上这种强行猥亵，觉得这种行为是对夫妻两人尊严的践踏，已报警。
10月20日上午，湖南省宁乡市公安局一名工作人员称该案件已受理，且涉事两男子已被行政拘留。
随后，宁乡市委宣传部门也对此事作了通报：10月17日晚23时许，宁乡市灰汤派出所接到宁某（女）等人报警称，他们当天在灰汤镇枫木桥村唱花鼓戏时被人骚扰。经查，10月17日晚，宁某在花鼓戏演出过程中，先后被上台打彩的邓某某搂抱、亲脸，唐某某搂抱。目前邓某某、唐某某均因猥亵他人已被公安机关行政拘留十五日。
