Heartwarming video of baby monkey rescued by hero after it got caught in a net in eastern India
Video captured the touching scene as a rescuer carefully cut free a baby monkey caught in netting, despite the seeming ingratitude - or perhaps lack of comprehension - of its mother nearby.
Filmed in Baripada, Odisha, on 29 October, rescuer Krishna Gochhait uses scissors to cut free the trapped monkey before giving it some water and releasing it.
All the while, two monkeys, one of them presumed to be the mother, bark angrily at the selfless hero.
As soon as the baby is release though, they calm down and leave the scene with the rescued child.
