Mouse's chestnut theft foiled by sewer grate, amusing Chinese vendors
A mouse's chestnut theft attempt failed comically, sparking laughs among street vendors in southern China.
The funny moment was filmed in the city of Liuzhou in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on November 25.
A mouse, emerging from the confines of a sewer, seized the perfect opportunity to pilfer a chestnut from a local vendor's stall. However, as the rodent scurried back towards its sewer home, the chestnut became wedged in the narrow crevice of a manhole cover.
The spectacle brought a wave of laughter to the stall owner.
