Ukrainian soldier takes out Russian sniper hiding among trees
These images show a Ukrainian soldier taking out a Russian sniper who was hiding among some trees.
The footage shows the moment a Ukrainian soldier takes the shot and hits the Russian sniper.
The images were obtained from the Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel General Oleksandr Stanislavovych Syrskyi, on Tuesday, December 5, along with a statement saying: 'The 'Ghosts of Bakhmut' are working.
'They very effectively destroyed four invaders and one enemy sniper.
'Glory to Ukraine and our soldiers.'
The images and statements were also relayed by the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, in what the Kremlin is still calling a 'special military operation'.
