These images show Ukrainian air defence systems destroying incoming Russian targets during a night attack.
The footage begins by showing a Ukrainian air defence system firing a missile into the sky, with it then apparently hitting its target as a Ukrainian soldier cheers.
The images then appear to show another Russian target being intercepted in midair and blown to pieces.
The images were obtained from the Air Command 'South' of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Thursday, October 12, along with a statement saying: 'Combat work of anti-aircraft soldiers of the 'Southern' air command on October 12, 2023!'
The images were also relayed by the Office of Strategic Communications (StratCom) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine along with a statement saying: 'Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleschuk, shared footage of air defence combat operations in southern Ukraine on the night of October 12, 2023.'
Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, in what the Kremlin is still calling a 'special military operation'.
