This footage purports to show Russian troops using a multiple rocket launcher to destroy Ukrainian manpower and armoured vehicles.

The Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) said crews of the Uragan multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) of the Vostok grouping launch daily missile strikes against Ukrainian Armed Forces positioned in the South Donetsk region, in eastern Ukraine.

The MoD added in a statement: 'With coordinated actions brought to the point of automaticity, the MLRS crew quickly moves to a combat position, aims at the previously acquired target, and hits it with an accurate shot.

'Immediately after completing the combat mission, the MLRS crew, without losing speed and tempo, takes the Hurricane out of position, preventing the enemy from detecting itself.

'MLRS 'Uragan' has proven itself from the best side. Artillerymen of the Vostok group of troops note the special manoeuvrability, simplicity of design, and combat effectiveness of the system on the frontline.'
