Russian forces destroy Ukrainian targets with strikes in Donetsk
Russian forces reportedly destroyed Ukrainian targets with strikes in Donetsk.
Officials reported that a Strela-10M missile system crew from the Vostok group shot down Ukrainian reconnaissance drones in the Zaporizhzhya area.
The drones were spotted from an observation post, and their location was passed to the missile crew, who then neutralised them.
In South Donetsk, Russian FPV drone operators identified supply routes used by Ukrainian forces near Otradnoye, Novoukrainka, and Zeleny Kut.
More than 10 vehicles, including pickups and jeeps carrying troops and supplies, were reportedly demolished in nighttime strikes.
Russian forces also used a TOS-1A Solntsepek flamethrower system to hit a fortified Ukrainian position in South Donetsk. Officials said the strike wiped out the position along with personnel and equipment.
Near Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People's Republic, Russian troops from the Southern Group allegedly used drones to disrupt Ukrainian unit control.
