In southwest China, a surprising moment was captured as a daughter clutched a gift box filled with 2 gold bars which stunned her mother.

The video was filmed on December 22, 2023, in the City of Guangyuan of Sichuan Province.

The young girl explained that it was a gift from a classmate. Originally, she felt shy about opening it to show her mother. After several gentle prompts from her mother, she finally revealed the contents.

To their astonishment, the box contained two gold bars valued at over 10,000 RMB, leaving both mother and daughter in disbelief.

According to local reports, the boy's mother casually told her son it was a gift for his future wife. Somehow, he found it at home and gave it to this little girl. The mother jokingly remarked that she hadn't expected her child to make such an important decision at a young age.

Eventually, they contacted the boy's mother and returned the gold bars to her.
