Firefighters heroically rescued a scooter rider buried under an overturned dump truck in eastern China.

The video was filmed in the city of Wuxi in Jiangsu Province on December 31, 2023.

A dump truck overturned burying a woman passing by on an electric scooter under the debris as it swerved to avoid other vehicles. Upon receiving the alarm, firefighters rushed to the scene for rescue.

Upon arrival, firefighters observed that the debris mainly covered the lower half of the woman's body. Fortunately, she was wearing a helmet, preventing any fatal injuries during the fall.

To ensure the woman's safety, firefighters initially used tools such as shovels to remove significant debris from the surroundings. As they approached the trapped woman, to prevent any secondary harm from tools, firefighters began manual labour. After half an hour of concerted effort, the piled debris on the woman's body was gradually cleared away.

The woman was safely rescued and transported to the hospital in close coordination between medical personnel and firefighters. After examination, it was revealed that she had a leg fracture but was not in life-threatening condition. Currently, she is undergoing treatment.

12月31日凌晨，江苏无锡一辆渣土车因避让其他车辆时发生侧翻，翻下的渣土将一名骑电动车路过此处的女子掩埋，接到报警后，消防人员立即前往现场救援。

消防员赶到现场时看到，渣土主要将女子的下半身掩埋，幸好这名女子戴着头盔，摔倒时没有受到致命伤害。消防员在确保不伤到女子的情况下，先使用铁锹等工具将周边的大部分渣土去除掉。当接近女子被困的位置后，为了防止使用工具对她造成二次伤害，消防员们开始徒手作业，经过半个小时努力，女子身上成堆的渣土终于被逐渐清理掉。

在医护人员与消防员的紧密配合下，女子被安全救出并送往医院。经检查，女子腿部有骨折，无生命危险，目前正在治疗中。
