Five acrobats dodged serious injuries as a trampoline collapsed during a spectacular performance in eastern China.

The terrifying video was filmed in Shanghai on December 24, 2023.

A loud bang emanated from a trampoline positioned beneath an acrobatic display, causing it to collapse.

Five performers stationed at the four corners of the trampoline immediately tumbled down, prompting gasps from the audience. The unexpected incident resulted in the premature conclusion of the show, more than ten minutes ahead of schedule.

On December 25, 2023, a spokesperson for the organisers of the Time Travel Odyssey show responded, stating that around 3:00 pm on the 24th, a trampoline serving a dual role as a protective net malfunctioned during the "Flying Man" act.

This malfunction led to the fall of the five performers, but fortunately, none of them suffered serious injuries.

The male performer who remained on the ground for a brief moment was a bit disoriented but escaped major harm.

Currently, investigations are underway to determine the cause of the equipment failure, and once repairs are complete, the show will resume as normal.
