A skilled worker dismantling an air conditioner stumbled upon a nest of bats in eastern China.

The shocking video was filmed in the city of Binzhou in Shandong Province on January 13.

The technician Mr. Jiang recounted the unexpected encounter. It all began with a scheduled appointment for air conditioner installation at a customer's residence. During the process of removing an old air conditioner, the workers were astounded to find an entire colony of bats residing within.

Approximately 20 bats were counted, along with a considerable amount of bat droppings. The revelation was both surprising and unsettling, indicating that the bats had likely been dwelling there for an extended period.

Mr. Jiang shared that there was a noticeable odour when the air conditioner was in use, attributed to the presence of the bats.

Prompt action was taken, and all the bats have since been released.
