The background of the video shows a man being thrown in the air at the time the explosion happened.T he man was later identified as the 50-year-old homeowner and a local vet.

Chinese media reported that prior to the incident, the man had attempted to repair a leak in the house's natural gas tank, but instead triggered the blast.

He was reportedly sent to a local hospital immediately after and was discharged soon after getting away with a fracture and several other minor injuries.

Media stated that nobody else was injured in the accident.
