"A possible deal of ceasefire in Gaza is still under negotiation between different parties, while Israeli Defense Minister Gallant warned on Friday that such a deal will not apply to the northern front against Lebanon Hezbollah. During a tour to the northern border, Gallant said that Israel will not stop until reaching a situation in which it's possible to restore security for residents of the north."

Palestinians in the besieged coastal enclave of the Gaza Strip have expressed hope of witnessing a real ceasefire between Hamas and Israel.

"There is great hope that a truce agreement will be reached, especially since the Israeli side is suffering huge losses in Gaza. Even if Netanyahu declares that he will wage war in order to achieve unreal goals, in reality, he wants to come down from the tree on which he climbed."

"I support any agreement that stops the massacres being committed against our people in principle. The issue is still pending as long as the displaced have not returned to their homes. Our return to northern Gaza is an essential part of any agreement, and we will not give it up because if we do not return, the war will still exist."
