Chinese influencer arrested for 'rubbing chopsticks up her vagina' at restaurant
An influencer has been arrested for rubbing chopsticks on her vagina at a hotpot restaurant in China.
The woman identified as 'Angel', 40, reportedly booked a private dining room at the food chain Haidilao in Guangzhou City in Guangdong province on February 14.
But instead of enjoying a hearty meal, the online model was recorded stripped off and pleasuring herself with a piece of fruit held between two wooden chopsticks, the native cutlery of the Far East.
Angel, wearing white thigh-high boots and a red Chinese undergarment called a 'du dou', was allegedly seen by shocked staff spreading her legs open and using chopsticks to rub her genitals with the food.
A shocked waiter allegedly witnessed the behaviour and called his boss, who later made a police complaint.
The Liwan District Public Security Bureau said in a statement on February 19 that Angel, also known as 'Zeng', and three others were involved in recording the salacious clip. It was reportedly one of many they had filmed and published online.
The statement read: 'We received a call from the employee on February 14, saying that a woman was filming indecent videos in the restaurant.
'The suspects were later arrested. They were three men and one woman.'
Officers warned others not to copy the lewd behaviour.
They added: 'We would like to remind everyone that the Internet is not a place outside the law.
'The public should abide by relevant laws, regulations and regulations on the internet when publishing information, and surf the Internet in a civilized manner.
'The public security offices will resolutely investigate and deal with those who spread online rumours and create online chaos by defying the law.'
Officers said Angel and three men were arrested and are now being investigated on suspicion of spreading obscene material online.
Local media reported that Angel may be made to pay compensation and her social media accounts may be closed.
Meanwhile, a Haidilao spokesperson said the restaurant condemns the indecent behaviour and assured customers they implement 'strict disinfection procedures' to meet health and safety standards.
Haidilao is China's largest hotpot chain with more than 1,300 restaurants across Asia, Australia, the UK, and the U.S.
It was founded by businessman Zhang Yong in 1994.
The restaurant chain has since grown in revenue. Zhang Yong and his wife Shu Ping are now worth $19 billion as of 2020, topping that year's Forbes Singapore Rich List.
