Civil defense officials rescued a man after he jumped into the lake from the bridge in northern India's Rajasthan.

The incident occurred on the Fatehsagar Lake bridge in Udaipur on February 24.

Visuals showed one of the Civil Security Department officials providing a safety tube to the man who jumped into the lake. He was placed inside the tube and pulled towards the shore by the official. After a struggle, the man was finally rescued. A large crowd of locals had gathered around the incident spot.

According to reports, the life of a young man was saved due to the alertness of a female passerby. The woman, who was strolling on the Fatehsagar Lake bridge, noticed a person jumping into the lake. Without delay, she informed the brave personnel of the Rajasthan Civil Security Department, Kailash Menaria, who promptly formed his team and rushed to the scene.

Upon arrival at the scene, Narender Choudhary, Kapil Salvi, and driver Prakash Rathore were present. Without hesitation, Narender Choudhary immediately entered the water and successfully rescued the person. The authorities were promptly notified of the incident.
