A 22-year-old youth identified as Neeraj Kori leaped into a river, allegedly in a bid to end his life in central India's Madhya Pradesh on August 11. The incident took place in the Sunar river in Garhakota in the Sagar district.

Visual features locals and officials around the river as they begin with the rescue operation in broad daylight. Following this, a group waits along the river's stairwell looking for Kori, and two local divers swim in the water looking for the youth. Later, officials with their safety suits circle around the spot where the youngster jumped.

As soon as Neeraj jumped into the Sunar river, locals who witnessed the youngster diving immediately alerted the authorities. Local divers searched for the young man but were unable to locate him owing to the strong water of the river, following which the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) team reached the spot, to begin with, the search and rescue operation. However, the youth is yet to be discovered while the officials are attempting to track him down.
