A generous Thai singer handed out cash to his audience during a concert.

Kong Huai Rai, who is also an actor, performed at a benefit gig for the non-government organisation the Red Cross, where he also gave out money to some of his fans in Sakhon Nakhon province, Thailand, on February 10.

Footage shows the performer singing on stage and pausing for a moment to distribute bank notes. Dozens held their hands up at him so he just threw the wads of cash onto the viewers on the front.

After his performance, security led the way for him under the stage but stopped to give more 100 baht (2.22 GBP) banknotes to his fans.

Concert-goer Kai Thirayut said: 'It was the first time I have seen a singer give thousands of cash to viewers. Maybe because it was held in his hometown.'
