Cobra with mouth superglued shut is rescued in central India

A 5-foot cobra was rescued after it had its teeth broken and its mouth superglued shut in Bhainsdehi, Madhya Pradesh.

Footage shows serpent expert Shiv Narvare using a pair of scissors and cotton to slowly open the snake's mouth. He then took the injured cobra to a vet where Dr Jyoti Toppo treated the reptile.

He found that a snake charmer had broken the cobra's teeth.

After receiving treatment, the snake was later released back into the wild.

Local wildlife officials have made efforts have been made to locate the snake charmer but they have not found them yet.
