Forest officials rescued a snake that entered a house in central India's Chhattisgarh.

The incident took place in the Rampur area of Korba district on August 24.

Visuals showed the snake catcher holding a stick and putting it inside a shoe rack. Suddenly a snake was heard hissing loudly and attacking the man. It tried to attack the man many times while he was busy emptying the rack. After he removed most of the shoes, he held the reptile by its tail as it was constantly moving around and trying to escape.

The rescuer caught the snake and put it inside a plastic jar.

According to reports, the snake, a cobra had entered Rajesh Barve's house. It was not the first time that something like that had happened. The pet cat of the house is the main savior in such cases as it always starts screaming on sensing a snake. It did the same this time as well.

Rajesh Barve's wife Anita Barve immediately informed Snake Rescue Team Chief Forest Department member Jitendra Sarathi about this. Sarathi reached the house and started the rescue. After a long struggle, Sarathi was able to capture the reptile, which was pretty aggressive.

Anita said that even before this cobra, other snakes have entered their house many times.
