Rampaging winds slammed open a roller shutter doors, sending debris flooding a supermarket in eastern China.

The dramatic video was filmed in Dongyang City in Zhejiang Province on March 25.

The forceful gusts lifted the roller shutter doors of the supermarket, allowing a deluge of debris to flood inside. The powerful winds also inflicted damage on advertising signs, automatic doors, side glass panels, and toppled shelves within the store.

The owner of the supermarket estimated the property losses to be around 20,000 yuan to 30,000 yuan (£2,200 to £3,300). Recalling the incident, the owner mentioned that it was fortunate that there were no casualties, as the person operating the doors at the time was one of the butchers. "At that moment, I thought the absence of any injuries was the greatest blessing," the owner remarked.

东阳市气象台于03月25日16时31分将雷暴大风黄色预警信号升级为雷暴大风橙色预警信号，受强对流云团影响，预计未来3小时内全市将出现10级及以上阵风并伴有雷电，请注意防范大风对交通旅游、设施农业、在建工程及户外广告牌等的不利影响。
