Lincoln Heights Barricaded Armed Robbery Suspect in Los Angeles, CA, USA

LAPD SWAT was called to a perimeter near the intersection of N Main St Griffin Ave. Hollenbeck units responded initially to the area for reports of a woman who was robbed and pistol whipped by three suspects. While taking the armed robbery report, the victim observed the suspects driving by their location. Officers followed the suspects to the above mentioned area, where one of the three barricaded themselves in a two story building. After an hours-long standoff, the suspect's girlfriend was able to convince him to exit the building. He was taken into custody at approximately 12:30 A.M. Wednesday. The extent of the injuries to the victim, and the items taken are unknown at this time.
