Indian man, 25, is only 20 inches tall and looks like a two-year-old
A 25-year-old Indian man who is only 20 inches tall is believed to be one of the smallest adults in India.
Ravi Kumar from Uttar Pradesh state looks like a two-year-old toddler and weighs just 15 pounds.
His family said they had taken him to a doctor as a kid, after he stopped growing physically upon reaching five years old.
Ravi's mum said they learned he was suffering a thyroid disease that stunted his growth.
She said: "We have taken him to many doctors we were told that he was suffering from thyroid disease. Treatment is possible, but we don't have enough money to afford it. Everyone else in the family is of normal height."
Dwarfism is a medical condition characterized by significantly shorter stature compared to average height.
It is typically caused by genetic factors, hormonal imbalances, or medical conditions that affect bone growth.
While individuals with dwarfism may face physical challenges, they can lead fulfilling lives with the same range of abilities and aspirations as people of average height.
