A twister was seen moving across the horizon during a storm in Iowa.

Footage shows the swirling vortex descending on the ground while trooper Paul Gardner alerted the sighting on his radio in Pocahontas County on April 16.

Despite the tornado's destructive potential, there were no immediate reports of injuries or significant damage.

Meteorologist Brooke Hagenhoff from the National Weather Service in Des Moines described the tornado as 'intermittent,' indicating its sporadic nature.

The funnel cloud touched down briefly in various locations before dissipating and reappearing elsewhere.

The tornado's erratic path began near Rockwell City in Calhoun County and headed northward. Residents of Manson, Palmer, Gilmore City, and Rolfe, all in Pocahontas County, witnessed the twister as it traversed the landscape.
