A kind vendor climbed up 30ft-high scaffolding to save a stranded kitten.

Footage shows the good Samaritan, who volunteered to help when he passed by the commotion while peddling ice cream, scaling the structure at a construction site in Bangkok, Thailand, on April 12.

He carefully ascended to the spot where the crying moggy was and put the animal in a sack to safely bring it down.

The vendor handed the sack to other onlookers, who quickly untied it to free the kitten.

Onlooker Tong Nisara said: ‘I was closing my ship when I heard the cat noises. Fortunately, the ice cream vendor volunteered to climb and save the cat.'
