Resident carefully uses scissors to free white kitten tangled in garden net
A resident carefully used a pair of scissors to free a white kitten that was tangled in a garden net.
Tee Chunseng heard the neighbour's cat crying outside his home when he woke up in the morning in Phitsanulok province, Thailand on September 15.
Footage shows the good Samaritan snipping on the green algae-covered strings while the scared animal tried to wriggle out of its predicament.
Upon being set loose, the feline darted across the fence and returned to its home while Tee watched with relief.
Tee said: 'I woke up at sunrise and heard the cat crying, so I walked out to look in the backyard. Then I found a kitten stuck in the net, so I quickly went to find scissors and cut it until it could come out.'
Thailand, a largely Buddhist nation, holds the belief that kindness towards animals should be encouraged, with temples sometimes being a safe refuge for stray cats, dogs, and even monkeys that don't have homes.
