Revellers once again took to Birmingham's nightclub strip on Sunday evening as the predicted rain held off, giving the partygoers a third dry bank holiday night in a row to party with friends.

Rosies nightclub proved to be popular once more with a packed beer terrace.

Further up Broad Street, Heidi's Bier Bar attracted the more après-ski types who wanted a beer tower and a seat to see Sunday into Bank Holiday Monday.

Spirits were high as friends walked the strip, with some helping others who needed a guiding arm.

As the night flowed into Monday morning, many reached for a takeaway and tucked into kebabs with 2 lads tucking in to their food on top of a bin.

Police were on standby in case of trouble with only a few tempers flaring, but no apparent arrests.
