Loved-up revellers descend onto Birmingham's infamous nightclub strip for a night of passion on Valentine's Day

Loved-up revellers descended onto Broad Street in Birmingham on Wednesday night to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

Hundreds hit the clubs on the infamous nightclub strip on Wednesday 14th February evening into Thursday morning with Walkabout and the recently saved from closure venue, Heidi’s Bier Bar.

Queues formed outside Walkabout as tunes pumped onto the streets outside and partygoers drank in the heated beer garden that fronts Heidi’s.

Many were seen clutching flowers and heart-shaped balloons but some enjoyed a takeaway instead of a rose.

Cuddles and quick snogs were on form during the night as the love flowed throughout.

Clubbers took the opportunity to get dressed up in red as they grabbed a selfie whilst waiting outside clubs.

The weather was hit and miss with that ‘fine rain that soaks you through’ along with warm dry spells, meaning many wore skimpy wear but had to use coats to shelter from the elements.

As the night turned into morning and the clubs shut, friends were spotted taking care of each other with one lass eating cheesy chips whilst standing over her mate who was slumped sitting on the floor.

They were then taken care of by two men who organised a taxi to collect them.
