Police were baffled by an alien cosplayer that was seen driving a flying saucer-shaped vehicle on a road in Thailand.

The confused officers pulled over the disc-shaped car where the half body of a blue alien was poking out of the top in Loei province on May 20.

Footage shows the three cops trying to figure out what was going on while talking to the driver who was wearing a suit fashioned to be an extraterrestrial being during a festival.

Upon checking for safety, they let the blue alien go to join the Rocket Festival parade of cars again. They deemed no traffic offences had been committed.

Onlooker Attaporn Khamyao said: 'Different villages joined the parade and the alien flying saucer was one of them. It was a bit funny. The police pulled him over but the officers were a bit confused, they didn't know what to do.'
